Requirements include CPA, 3–5 years of relevant experience in importation, trading, manufacturing or inventory-driven businesses, and strong skills in financial reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to importation, trading, manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, inventory costing, and general accounting operations.
• Familiarity with import-related costs such as freight, duties, taxes, brokerage, and other landed costs.
• Experience using ERP systems and SAP.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing or supervising an accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Director and collaborate with Importation and Procurement teams.
• Oversee accounting and recording of importation-related transactions.
• Monitor and review importation-related costs (freight, duties, taxes, brokerage, etc.).
• Ensure proper recording and allocation of importation costs for inventory costing and reporting.
• Reconcile import-related accounts, supplier balances, and inventory records.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger balances.
• Oversee monthly financial closing and reporting processes.
• Prepare Financial Statements, management reports, and importation-related analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Lead and develop the accounting team to meet departmental goals.
