Job summary

Hellmann seeks a proactive Customer Service Coordinator in the Philippines to liaise with customers, shippers, network, and overseas partners to ensure timely freight booking and shipment coordination for import/export operations. You will handle day-to-day import/export duties, communicate with carriers and customers, prepare documents, and monitor shipments while maintaining excellent service quality.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• End to end Air/Ocean Freight Import/Export experience is essential.
• Able to plan work and meet deadlines.
• A pro-active attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on customer needs and requirements as a priority.
• Pro-actively inform customer about any irregularities and provide alternative solution.
• Read and follow instructions defined in customer specific SOP's.
• Organize the day to day running of specific import/export operational duties.
• Coordinating import/export shipment with local & overseas customers, airlines/carriers, sub-contractors, agents and truckers for all import and export related transportation.
• Liaise internally and externally with all departments, third party carriers, forwarders, agencies in the execution of those duties.
• Prepare, create and execute documents relating to import/export consignments.
• Monitor daily import/export shipment/delivery requirements.
• Attend to designated destination export customs documents and facilities via the Hellmann Freight TMS system.
• Maintaining latest customer contact to ensure quality service.
• Monitor and report consignments within destinations and overseas sources where relevant.
• Ensure completion of all consignment tasks from booking to transportation and accounting.
• Adhere to continuous improvement procedures to increase process competence.
• Be conversant in regulations and laws of designated countries served.
• Be aware of duties related to hazardous goods in import/export.
• Support country on system rollout.
• Assist implementation of new customers, review SOP and provide feedback.
• Issue internal/external invoices according to agreed rates and services provided.
