Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to turn complex financial data into insights that strengthen planning, performance, and decision-making across an international enterprise. You will develop sophisticated models, automate reporting, and support accurate forecasting with global stakeholders.

In this role you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, leverage Power BI and advanced Excel, and contribute to monthly closes and budgets.

Qualifications

Degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field required.
5+ years in financial planning & analysis or similar role.
CPA, CFA, or MBA qualification is advantageous.
Solid knowledge of Canadian GAAP and financial statements.
Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, data architecture and data cleansing.
Advanced Excel and Access skills with large data consolidation.
Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP; Hubble is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform financial analyses and maintain large, complex financial models and databases.
Automate, improve, and document financial processes.
Collaborate with BI team to build data lake and dashboards.
Maintain BI models and databases through data gathering, dataflow management, data cleansing, and relationships.
Prepare recurring operational and nonfinancial reports.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Produce accounting reports and financial allocation models for period-end closing.
Assist FP&A in preparing consolidated budgets and forecasts.
Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses as required.
Establish and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across departments.
