Job summary

Staffstream is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Business Aligned Team. You will own the allocation of a ~$1.3 billion cost base, supporting a major business group. This real FP&A role reports to a Senior Manager and collaborates with Australian stakeholders regularly.

You will produce monthly management reports, review month-end variances, and provide clear insights on movements and drivers. Strong Excel and BI skills are essential, with CPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting or finance with FP&A focus.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Solid experience in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Clear communication with stakeholders, especially in cross-border contexts.
• Comfort handling complex datasets and cost modelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management reporting on cost base and recoveries.
• Review month-end cost base for tech service areas and analyze variances.
• Provide analysis and commentary on movements and drivers.
• Identify adjusting entries with Finance Control and ensure journal completeness.
• Participate in regular financial meetings with stakeholders (Australia).
• Spot process improvements and support ad hoc requests.
