Job summary

Staffstream is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to own the allocation of a ~1.3 billion cost base, supporting one of the largest business groups. This FP&A role reports to a Senior Manager and liaises with Australian stakeholders regularly.

You will drive monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, with exposure to cost modelling and financial controls in a multinational financial services context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting or finance, FP&A focus preferred.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Solid experience in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proactive, clear communication with stakeholders, especially Australia-based.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management reporting on cost base and recoveries.
• Review month-end cost base for technology service areas and analyse variances.
• Provide analysis and commentary on movements and drivers.
• Identify adjusting entries with the Financial Control team and ensure journal completeness.
• Participate in regular financial meetings with stakeholders to review results and forecasts.
• Communicate with Australia-based stakeholders as a regular duty.
• Spot opportunities to simplify processes and support ad hoc requests.
