Job summary

Staffstream is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst in the Philippines to join a global financial services organization. The role focuses on FP&A activities including management reporting, month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and cost modelling with stakeholder engagement.

You will work in a business-aligned team to manage a large cost base, providing insights and commentary on movements, and identifying opportunities to simplify finance processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with strong FP&A exposure.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong experience in: Financial reporting, Month-end close, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost modelling.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with complex datasets and matrixed organizations.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, proactive and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports on cost base and business recoveries.
• Review month-end results and analyze variances against prior periods and forecasts.
• Provide clear financial analysis and commentary on key movements.
• Coordinate adjusting entries and support accurate journal and accrual processing.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, cost modelling, and billable rate reviews.
• Participate in regular financial meetings with key stakeholders.
• Present financial insights clearly and confidently.
• Identify opportunities to improve and simplify finance processes.
• Support ad hoc analysis and team initiatives as needed.
