Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Fixed Assets Accounting Manager in Taguig, Philippines, to lead and develop the Asset Accounting team, overseeing end-to-end fixed assets processes and ensuring adherence to internal controls and standards.

The role requires strong SAP ERP experience, US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and a proven leadership track record within a multinational/shared services setup, driving process improvements and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in fixed assets accounting within multinational/shared services environment.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience with fixed asset modules, capitalization, depreciation, and reporting.
• Proven people leadership with ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of fixed assets accounting, capitalization, depreciation, asset lifecycle, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Exposure to broader R2R processes is advantageous.
• Proven track record in process improvements and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Asset Accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end fixed assets accounting and sub-ledger operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and policies.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes for fixed assets.
• Drive operational excellence through process optimization and standardization.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders across functions.
• Support audit requirements, governance activities, and control compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and team performance.
