Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay City seeks a Fixed Asset Accountant to manage the fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules across multiple entities. You will ensure proper capitalization and asset tracking while supporting audits and month-end close.

This onsite night-shift role requires a strong IFRS/GAAP background, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics), and a driven mindset to maintain highly accurate asset records and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of general accounting or fixed asset accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP relating to fixed assets and long-lived assets.
• Hands-on experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics).
• Proven ability to manage month-end close timetables, prepare audit schedules, and execute detailed reconciliations on time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger by recording new additions, assigning asset tag numbers, and tracking assets across multiple entities.
• Calculate monthly depreciation, manage amortization schedules, and reconcile subledgers to general ledger balance sheet accounts.
• Review project costs, CIP, and expense accounts for capitalization and identify exceptions.
• Process asset retirements, sales, transfers, and test for impairments or obsolescence.
• Support audits, month-end/year-end close processes, and provide PP&E data for reporting.
