Emapta is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen global financial performance, with CA/CPA credentials and 5+ years in financial and management accounting. The role emphasizes Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics in a commercial environment, and collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

The position offers a permanent work-from-home arrangement, day shift, weekends off, and exposure to global finance processes.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with more than 5 years of experience in financial and management accounting within a commercial or corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, account reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial reporting tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, including revenue and expense accruals, prepayments, depreciation and amortization of fixed assets, intangible assets and leases, interest income and expense, and intercompany and related-party balances and transactions.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Officer to process and review fortnightly payroll.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Administer and update accounting records, including asset registers for fixed assets, intangible assets, and leases.
• Partner with the Finance Manager to support budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, financial analysis, and commentary.
