Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support Australia’s accounting and wealth advisory industry. The role strengthens financial foundations by producing reliable accounts, tax returns, activity statements, and reconciliations for Australian clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience across multiple accounting areas preferred.
• Proficiency with MS 365.
• Exposure to Xero or MYOB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
• Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies.
• Complete preparation and lodgment of Business Activity Statements.
• Compile required documents and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Handle Australian Taxation Office correspondence.
