Job summary

Speedcast's Dispatch team coordinates the deployment of Field Engineers and approved third-party engineers to customer sites worldwide, including offshore rigs, ships, and land locations.

The Dispatch Coordinator handles requests from NOC and Project teams, managing resourcing, travel, HSE, spares logistics and post-dispatch documentation to ensure engineers arrive on-site safely, on time, and fully equipped. You will work rotating shifts and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in dispatch, scheduling, logistics coordination or field service operations
• Experience in satellite communications, telecommunications, maritime, energy or offshore industries is highly desirable
• Experience coordinating international travel, freight or spares logistics
• PC literate in Windows environment with strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Receive and log dispatch requests from NOC and Project teams, confirming scope, priority and site requirements
• Assign a suitably experienced Field Engineer based in the correct location for the job
• Coordinate dispatch with the customer site, agreeing access, timing and on-site contact
• Arrange and book all travel — flights, visas, ground transport, offshore transfers and accommodation
• Review HSE requirements and travel security for offshore, maritime and remote sites
• Identify, arrange and ship spares and equipment to site per scope and timelines
• Provide 24-hour on-call dispatch support, including nights and weekends
• Create and issue pre-dispatch work packs and field documentation
• Manage post-dispatch documentation and update Work Orders in ServiceNow
