Fleet Management Limited seeks a Crewing Operations professional to oversee the overall operations of the Container and Tanker Crewing Department. You will coordinate with Head Office and Manning Offices, communicate with vessels, verify candidate data, and manage crew changes during emergencies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely interviews.

Qualifications

• Preferably graduate of Maritime Studies with experience in handling crewing department.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Head Office and other FML Manning Offices re Crewing matters.
• Communicates with vessels (All Containers and Tankers).
• Receives advice re vessel requirement for Engine Department (All Containers and Tankers).
• Maintains active file/crew vacation list.
• Contacts candidates by phone and/or by other means.
• Conducts general interview with ex-crews and/or new applicants.
• Schedules them for further interview and informs Hongkong Office for further interview.
• Prepares and replies to messages.
• Proposes candidates (Officers and crew) to HK Office and other FML Manning Offices.
• Verifies the authenticity of data in the application form (Document verification).
• Receives calls from ships' personnel re crew change inquiries, updates and gives advice in handling emergencies.
