Job summary

ING is seeking a Cost Invoicing (AR) Specialist to support end-to-end invoicing activities, ensuring cost validation, accurate invoices, and maintained billing records. You will collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and contribute to process improvements.

The role sits within the COO Finance team at the Manila hub, expanding its role in supporting global finance operations and offering exposure to diverse international markets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, cost control, or similar finance functions.
• Strong understanding of accruals, cost allocation, and revenue recognition.
• Advanced attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; ERP experience is a plus.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders across functions and cultural backgrounds.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus.
• Banking industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate cost invoices based on agreed billing schedules and requirements.
• Validate recharge costs, intercompany charges, project expenses, and other billing inputs before invoicing.
• Investigate invoicing discrepancies, reconcile variances, and coordinate resolutions with key stakeholders.
• Maintain billing records, audit trails, supporting documents, and financial data.
• Produce management information reports, dashboards, and billing-related analyses.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Partner with business teams to gather cost information and manage invoicing-related queries.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance billing accuracy.
