Job summary

Citi in the Philippines seeks a Cross-disciplinary Controls Sr. Analyst to strengthen internal controls across Markets. You will own control design, coordinate global reviews, and drive remediation while safeguarding Citi’s reputation and assets.

You’ll work with MSCG and Markets Business Managers to gain deep product and process knowledge across asset classes, contributing to a robust control environment with consistent practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in risk, controls, audits, compliance or operational risk.
• Experience in financial industry risk/control functions and sustainable improvements.
• Strong understanding of Markets business and related risk/controls.
• Audit experience in financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Conduct reviews and testing of controls; assess against thresholds and policy.
• Identify emerging risks, escalate weaknesses, and drive remediation.
• Support MCA requirements; manage risk reviews, audits and assurance activities.
• Assess risk in business decisions to protect Citi's reputation and assets.
