Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Financial Controllership professional in the Philippines to ensure correct US GAAP accounting and local GAAP compliance for Hosted activities. You will oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting on pension/fringe, assets, and equity, while optimizing Oracle and BlackLine and aligning with SOX controls.

The role reports to the Financial Controller (ASIA) and requires collaboration with global teams to drive efficient processes and documentation.

Qualifications

CPA or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 1 year in General Accounting and in a global organization.
Technical accounting knowledge with focus on US GAAP preferred.
Strong communication skills (English) and stakeholder management.
Experience working with Oracle and BlackLine preferred.
Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments.

Responsibilities

Ensure close process is completed accurately and on a timely basis.
Prepare standard monthly reconciliations and journal entries for financial statements.
Timely and accurate reporting, escalation and resolution of reconciling items.
Assist in preparing reporting and analysis to support controllership activities.
Collaborate with Finance team and GBS towers to resolve issues.
Create and maintain procedural documentation for all activities.
Assist with ad hoc requests from the controllership team.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
