Job summary

Emapta is seeking a seasoned Conflicts Management Team Lead to spearhead complex conflict assessments, advise senior stakeholders, and mentor a regional team. You will ensure compliant risk decisions across jurisdictions and support global client relationships in a hybrid role based in Makati after probation.

The role requires 7+ years in conflicts management, leadership experience, and strong research and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of dedicated conflicts management experience, preferably in international contexts.
• 2-3+ years of team leadership, supervision, or mentoring experience.
• Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional or international conflicts operations.
• Knowledge of professional conflict rules, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first escalation point for complex conflicts matters and support resolutions aligned with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Advise partners, fee earners, and business stakeholders on conflicts matters, including waivers.
• Perform conflicts checks for new clients and matters to identify potential concerns.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for the Conflicts Committee.
• Assess conflicts reports and provide clear, practical, risk-based recommendations.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while maintaining procedures and documentation.
• Contribute to international conflicts initiatives, process improvements, and cross-regional projects.
• Strengthen knowledge sharing and quality assurance across the Conflicts team.
• Coordinate operational handovers and support consistent service delivery across regions.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and support compliance and high-quality client service.
