• Proven experience in integrated communications, ideally for an international organisation, the development sector or within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to write and edit a range of communications materials in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and assimilate complex information.
• Rigorous attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work across simultaneous projects led by multiple team members.
• Strong team ethic and willingness to learn new skills and share expertise.
• Ability to work creatively, speedily and accurately under pressure and prioritise accordingly.
• Fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver regular content for internal channels to drive engagement and connection with the global staff network.
• Write communications materials for internal and external audiences
• Produce creative content for Trust Conference and other events
• Support campaign delivery and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities
• Monitor sector trends and suggest new creative approaches
• Source human-interest and impact stories relevant to audiences and strategy
• Action communications support requests from across the business
• Build relationships with thought leadership and service delivery teams
• Support programmatic communications activities and fundraising priorities
• Manage the enquiries inbox and draft initial responses
• Support external communications campaigns
• Plan and deliver campaigns around relevant international days
• Report to the Senior Communications Manager
