Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines in Manila invites a Business Control Officer to join the COO Finance COMET team. You will perform QA on non-financial and IT risk controls, collaborating with ORM, IRM, CAS and NFR to strengthen risk governance across global finance functions.

The role requires 4–8 years in Audit or Non-Financial Risk, a BSc degree in Finance/IT, and fluent English. You will report to the Expert Lead Operational Effectiveness & Compliance in Manila, joining a diverse, global environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or IT or equivalent.
• 4–8 years’ experience in Audit or Non-Financial Risk Management.
• Knowledge of Audit assignments, Finance & IT Control Assessments, Key Control/SOX Testing.
• Ability to collaborate across functional and geographical lines.
• Proactiveness and persuasiveness.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Banking processes, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA on (non)-financial & IT risk control activities for COO Finance locally and globally to enhance risk culture.
• Participate in projects and advise on risk controls.
• Collaborate with COO Finance departments, ORM, IRM, CAS and NFR teams.
• Guide governance documents, test planning, and control testing (SOX, etc.).
• Ensure oversight of NFR activities and improve reporting.
• Plan and monitor testing cycles with proper evidence delivery.
• Manage stakeholders across business teams and leadership.
• Communicate clearly to align expectations and get things done.
