Job summary

MSCI is hiring an Analytics Managed Services Specialist to support global risk analytics clients. You will analyze client portfolio data, model requirements, and ensure accurate risk reporting. You will train users, collaborate with multiple internal teams, and help implement AI-enabled improvements across projects.

The role requires strong communication, data modeling expertise, and proficiency in Python/SQL, with a focus on market risk analytics and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a client-facing role within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience across equities, fixed income, derivatives and risk management.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with AI prompting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm data coverage for securities and benchmarks by analyzing requirements.
• Consult with clients on portfolio data modeling and data formats.
• Advise on mapping holdings to risk factor datasets and configurations.
• Support data conformance, validation testing, and processing logs.
• Monitor client configuration workflows and data enrichment rules.
• Review risk and compliance reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide client support via phone and email; analyze rejections and MV reconciliation.
• Deliver initial product training to new users in client organizations.
• Coordinate between clients and internal teams to capture requirements.
• Assist Sales in assessing implementation requirements and contracts.
• Contribute to AI-driven projects focusing on innovation and efficiency.
