The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2–3 years’ experience in general accounting, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and related processes, with a 5‑month fixed‑term contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field.
• 2–3 years of work experience in general accounting, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, cash receipts application, intercompany transactions, and credit collection.
• Willing to commit to a 5‑month fixed‑term employment contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and protect organization assets.
• Validate cash transactions, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile reconciling items.
• Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliation and vouched transaction validation.
• Generate reports and analyze accounts to resolve misrecorded transactions.
• Maintain audit trail and post journal entries to restate balances.
• Handle Fixed Assets accounting: recognition, depreciation, retirement, transfer, and write‑offs.
• Prepare process documentation and training to capture improvements.
• Apply internal controls per CP&P and GAAP.
