Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Specialist, Record to Report to manage general ledger processes, including reconciliation, asset accounting, and close activities.

You will prepare high-quality reports, collaborate with internal/external partners, and identify process improvements to deliver accurate financial service as part of Global Financial Services Manila. Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency (Oracle, SAP), and 4.5+ years in accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related fields.
• 4.5 years of general accounting experience, including GL, reconciliation, fixed assets, and audit support.
• Solid understanding of internal control and GAAP.
• ERP proficiency including Oracle and SAP.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform Bank Reconciliation and month-end activities.
• Validate data accuracy and resolve reconciling items.
• Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliation and adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with partners for critical deliverables.
• Ensure reports are complete and compliant.
