Emerson Philippines is seeking a General Ledger professional in Mandaluyong to process GL transactions, perform reconciliations, asset accounting, and support audits. You will interact with internal and external customers and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or any accounting related degree.
• At least 2 to 3 years of work experience in general accounting, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, cash receipts application, Intercompany transactions, and credit collection.
• Willing to commit to a 5-month fixed-term employment contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations to protect company assets.
• Validate cash transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and vouch source details.
• Generate reports and analyze accounts to resolve mis-recordings.
• Maintain audit trails and post journal entries to adjust balances.
• Perform fixed assets accounting, asset recognition, depreciation, transfers, and write-offs.
• Conduct training and update process documentation to capture improvements.
• Apply internal controls in line with CP&P and GAAP.
