Emerson is seeking a records-to-report professional in Manila to manage general ledger activities, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end closes. The role involves preparing high-quality reports, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, about 4.5 years in general accounting, and strong GAAP knowledge along with ERP experience (Oracle and SAP) and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or accounting-related courses.
• 4.5 years of experience in general accounting including GL, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and audit support.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• ERP experience with Oracle and SAP.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Perform Bank Reconciliation and month-end financial activities.
• Validate accuracy of data, verify discrepancies, and resolve reconciling transactions.
• Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, analyze balance details and suggest adjustments.
• Prepare and post Journal entries; troubleshoot disputes on entries.
• Coordinate with other functions to close month accounting modules.
• Prepare supporting documents for audit requirements.
