Job summary

Eaton Industries - Philippines is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the WFA Americas HR services team. The SME provides process expertise, leads new hire training, quality audits, and documentation reviews, while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence across HR services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR/Shared Services.
• Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations related to recruitment, disability management, compensation and benefits, and data privacy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in HR systems and tools including HRMS, Case Management Systems, ATS platforms, and MS Office.
• Ability to manage high work volumes with accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management abilities.
• Professional, adaptable and customer-focused with service excellence.
• Demonstrated initiative and collaboration; willing to share knowledge and develop the team.
• Flexibility to rotate across HR Services workstreams.
• Willingness to work night shift (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
• Willingness to work in a Hybrid setup (3x per week) in Tanauan, Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of all scheduled work per SLA.
• Monitor daily operational controls and escalate issues or risks.
• Review control findings and update processes.
• Develop, maintain and deliver training materials.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires and deployments.
• Create and update process documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Drive process excellence through efficiency, standardization and automation.
• Conduct quality audits and provide peer coaching.
• Perform transactional activities accounting for ~30% of the role.

What you’ll do:

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the WFA Americas team in partnership with the Team Lead. Serving as a key resource for process expertise, the SME acts as the primary point of contact for process-related activities, including new hire training, quality audits, peer coaching, and documentation reviews. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and promotes operational excellence across HR services.

• Ensure the timely completion of all scheduled work in accordance with SLA commitments.
• Monitor daily operational controls and escalation issues or risks as appropriate.
• Review control findings and recommend updates to processes and procedures.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials for process-related sessions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and team deployments.
• Create, maintain, and update process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Drive process excellence through efficiency improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Conduct quality audits and provide peer-to-peer coaching to support performance and development.
• Perform transactional activities within scope, accounting for approximately 30% of the role.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, or a Shared Services environment.
• Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations related to recruitment, disability management, compensation and benefits, and data privacy.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
