Job summary

NMDC Dredging & Marine is seeking an experienced Field and Laboratory Testing Supervisor to oversee geotechnical testing for ground improvement projects in the Manila region. You will coordinate testing activities, ensure compliance with project specs and safety requirements, and manage testing crews and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of testing equipment and calibration, and a track record in geotechnical or marine civil works.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of field testing and QC for ground improvement works.
• Experience supervising testing crews and field personnel.
• Ability to interpret testing results and maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, calibration, and inspection procedures.
• Experience in dredging, reclamation, marine civil, or ground improvement projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field and laboratory testing activities for ground improvement projects.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor testing operations to meet timelines.
• Ensure testing activities comply with procedures, standards and client requirements.
• Lead testing personnel, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC, Surveyors, and Project Management on testing results.
• Review and validate test data, reports, and records for accuracy.
• Monitor performance of testing teams and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain documentation and traceability of all testing records and reports.
