Job summary

SGS is seeking a technician to maintain and repair laboratory and inspection instruments across the NR-Minerals Group. You will perform installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, coordinating with contractors as needed.

Requirements include vocational/technical training as an industrial electrician (TESDA NC III) and 1–2 years’ experience in geochemical equipment and electrical/mechanical maintenance. English fluency is expected; work is site-based with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Geochem equipment troubleshooting experience (1–2 years).
• Electrical wiring and troubleshooting experience (1–2 years).
• Mechanical maintenance experience (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs laboratory and inspection instruments and equipment.
• Provides first-level technical assistance and coordinates with third-party contractors for support services.
• Performs preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment and monitors downtime.
• Ensures compliance with QHSEE policies and participates in safety trainings and incidents.
