Job summary

SGS in the Philippines is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Geochemistry) based in Aroroy, Masbate. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of laboratory and inspection instruments across NR-Minerals Group, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires 1–2 years in geochem equipment troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical maintenance, fluency in English, and a commitment to QHSEE policies. On-site work with third-party coordination and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in Geochem equipment troubleshooting.
• 1–2 years' experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair laboratory and inspection instruments and equipment for NR-Minerals Group.
• Provide first-level technical assistance and coordinate with third-party contractors.
• Install electrical devices and perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Ensure compliance with QHSEE policies and safety guidelines.
• Report incidents and hazards per SGS procedures.
