Job summary

Rebel Bakehouse in Baguio City is seeking a General Worker for Pastry to support daily pastry production, keep kitchen areas clean and organized, and help uphold food safety standards and operational efficiency.

You will prepare ingredients, perform mise en place, assist with doughs and batters, help bake pastries, and assist in packaging finished goods for display or sale, while maintaining stock and sanitation throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place efficiently for pastry production.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils following food safety regulations.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and sanitation products.
• Help in restocking supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients and tools to prevent contamination.
• Support the team by preparing and organizing ingredients and materials for pastry production.
• Help with the preparation, mixing, and baking of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
• Measure, prepare, and organize ingredients for various pastries, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings as directed by the Pastry Chef.
• Assist in packaging and presentation of finished pastries for display or sale.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place efficiently for the production of croissants and other laminated dough products.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils, including mixers, ovens, and pastry tools, following food safety regulations
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift
• Regularly empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to the facility's recycling and waste management policies
• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and sanitation products
• Help in restocking supplies as needed and ensure proper storage of ingredients and tools to prevent contamination
• Support the team by preparing and organizing ingredients and materials for pastry production
• Help with the preparation, mixing, and baking of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods
• Measure, prepare, and organize ingredients for various pastries, ensuring accuracy and consistency
