Makati Life Nurture Medical Center Inc. is seeking a General Physician to deliver comprehensive primary and general medical care.
You will conduct histories, exams, and diagnostic evaluations, manage common conditions, and coordinate referrals with a patient-centered, ethical approach.
The General Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive primary and general medical care to patients. The physician conducts medical assessments, diagnoses and manages common acute and chronic conditions, provides preventive healthcare, orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists when necessary. The General Physician ensures safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while complying with hospital policies, clinical protocols, ethical standards, and applicable Philippine healthcare regulations.
Conduct comprehensive medical history-taking and physical examinations
Assess, diagnose, and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop appropriate treatment and management plans based on clinical findings
Request and interpret appropriate laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of professional practice
Monitor patients' clinical progress and modify treatment plans when necessary
Identify conditions requiring specialist consultation or referral and coordinate appropriate referrals
Provide initial assessment and management of urgent and emergency medical conditions within the scope of practice
Provide preventive healthcare, health counseling, and patient education
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of consultations, medical orders, progress notes, and other required medical records
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school
Valid and current PRC Physician License in the Philippines
Strong knowledge of general medical assessment and patient management
Competent in taking medical histories and performing physical examinations
Ability to interpret laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic results
Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to recognize conditions requiring specialist referral or emergency intervention
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practice, and quality patient care
Willingness to comply with the hospital's medical staff credentialing and privileging requirements
