Job summary

CLEVR is seeking a General Manager to lead the Law Education Business Unit in the Philippines. You will oversee revenue, operating profit, market share, and product portfolio performance, coordinating Institutional Sales, Retail, Marketing, Product Design, Operations, and Finance to strengthen leadership in Legal Education.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role requires 12+ years in BU leadership within education or publishing, deep familiarity with law‑school adoption and bar

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 12 years of managerial experience in BU leadership, education, publishing, sales, or product portfolio management.
• Deep familiarity with the legal education market, including law-school adoption processes, Bar review cycles.
• Experience in product portfolio management and retail offtake dynamics within the legal education sector.
• Proven expertise in business development and identifying customer needs and market opportunities.
• Track record in achieving sales targets and cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive the Law BU commercial strategy and Revenue Logic across law schools, professors, students, bar review users, practitioners, and related segments.
• Own the Law BU product portfolio, Final List, and product-market performance; translate market requirements into clear inputs for product design.
• Ensure product readiness, inventory discipline, and retail offtake readiness in partnership with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Lead market analysis, adoption reviews, and opportunity mapping to identify stated and anticipated market needs.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance around clear Law BU priorities.
• Lead the BU team and matrix partners through clear goals, KPIs, business reviews, and corrective actions.
