Job summary

Nestlé Philippines, Inc. in Tanauan is seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to lead accounting processes, supervise finance staff, and contribute to strategic financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Based in the Tanauan factory, you will oversee accounts payable, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and cost analyses, ensure NAS-compliant reporting, coordinate month-end closes, audits, and budgeting, and mentor a team of cost accountants and finance associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Based in Tanauan City, Batangas; willing to be mobile to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable, payroll, inventory control, and fixed assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with NAS standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Monitor and analyze factory costs using activity-based costing and factory management tools.
• Provide insights to improve cost efficiency and support operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
• Maintain internal controls, including segregation of duties and risk assessments.
• Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits.
• Assist in preparing and managing the factory's budget and forecasts.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff (e.g., cost accountants, finance associates).
