Job summary

Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage timely closing, accounting reviews, and external reporting. The role coordinates with external auditors and ensures compliance with statutory filings and group projects.

The candidate should be an Accountancy graduate with CPA, strong PFRS knowledge, and at least five years in general accounting, including audit exposure, to support the finance function and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Accountancy graduate, CPA required.
• Proficiency in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• At least 5 years in general accounting, preferably with 3 years audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Timely closing of books with appropriate analysis and understanding of key movements in the accounts.
• Provide review of key balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving any issues identified in a timely manner.
• Preparation of all external reporting requirements including Annual Report, Mancom Reports, Interim updates, statutory accounts filing and other related compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the external auditors for the preparation/finalisation of annual financial statements.
• Review monthly close process and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of monthly financial statements.
• Develop the other team members within the Financial reporting team, and the wider finance function.
• Partner with the Commercial Finance Team to deliver quality monthly rolling forecast and annual budget.
• Support the Tax Compliance team for the BIR audit requirements.
• Ensure appropriate accounting for other ad-hoc Group projects.
• Support other departments on financial reporting related inquiries.
