Job summary

Asea Airports Development Corporation is seeking an experienced General Accounting Manager in Pasay to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. You will support management with financial planning and decision-making and lead a team to ensure accurate records and timely deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 5–8 years of supervisory accounting experience, with strong knowledge of Philippine standards, BIR, and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems for financial operations.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees general accounting, financial reporting, cash management, compliance and internal controls.
• Reviews and ensures accuracy of accounting records, journal entries, and financial transactions.
• Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensures timely compliance with BIR, SEC, and other statutory requirements.
• Monitors cash flow, expenses, receivables, payables, and financial controls.
• Reviews financial documents and ensures proper authorization and supporting documentation.
• Leads and supervises the Accounting team and ensures timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinates with auditors, banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Identifies accounting risks, discrepancies, and control weaknesses and recommends improvements.
• Provides management with financial analysis, reports, and accounting-related recommendations.
