Job summary

Connext Global Solutions is seeking a Store Accountant to support our US-based client and ensure accurate store-level financial records across multiple locations.

The role covers bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and month-end close, reporting to the Controller and sales team. Strong independence and English communication are essential for success.

What You’ll Do:

The Store Accountant (General Accountant) handles accounting activities for multiple retail locations, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and month‑end close. The role ensures accurate store‑level financial records and reports while supporting the Controller and sales team.

Job Description

• Prepare monthly financial statements and store‑level reports for multiple locations.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Handle accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and month‑end close activities.
• Maintain store check sheets, invoice, and rent reporting.
• Support store performance reporting and address financial inquiries.
• Prepare business licenses, sales tax, and regulatory filings.
• Assist with annual and other audits by providing supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate records, investigate discrepancies, and resolve routine accounting issues.
• Follow standardized accounting processes and meet deadlines across multiple store entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Demonstrates understanding of general accounting and month‑end close processes.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
