Job summary

Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (Manila) seeks a skilled supervisor to oversee the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of vessel gearbox systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.

You will coordinate with vessel engineers and contractors, maintain technical records, and ensure compliance with maritime safety and maintenance standards. A Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in vessel gearbox maintenance, repair, or marine machinery.
• Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, gearboxes, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting, overhaul, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of maritime safety, class, and maintenance standards.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
