EY in the Philippines is hiring for a Payroll Central Coordination Senior to join the Payroll Operate Services team. You will coordinate payroll activities across APAC regions, align with global EY payroll teams, and ensure timely delivery of contracted services.

The role emphasizes governance, documentation, and stakeholder management. You’ll work with client counterparts and EY local teams, manage escalations, and contribute to monthly financials and SLA reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily payroll activities with the operations lead.
• Partner with global EY internal payroll teams to ensure timely and quality payroll delivery.
• Create and maintain control documentation, process flows and procedures.
• Handle escalations from clients and advise Payroll leadership on risks.
• Manage communications with clients and EY local teams.
• Assist with contracting requirements such as variations and change notes.
• Assist with monthly financials such as preparing budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare and report on SLA performance to clients.
• Maintain client and EY platform access for engagements.
• Prepare annual calendars for global payroll clients.
• Prepare consolidated reports for monthly tax file delivery.
• Assist with issue resolution with local teams and client communications.
• Maintain and update issue logs for each engagement.
• Request information from local countries regarding stock vesting and consolidate with client.
• Prepare project plans and weekly status updates.
• Assist with other ad hoc requests.

Payroll Operate Services: Payroll Central Coordination Senior

General spec plus

3+ years experience of payroll coordination across APAC countries (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam) preferred

EY grade/level: Senior (Rank 42)

Specific duties/responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the operations lead in daily activities such as project management, resolution of escalations, and payroll governance
• Partner with global EY Internal Payroll teams to ensure payrolls are delivered according to contractual requirements in terms of timeliness, quality and in line with the agreed service levels
• Create and maintain control documentation, process flows and procedures
• Dealing with escalations from the clients and advising the Payroll leadership team concerning potential risks relating to payroll
• Management of communications with both the client and the EY local teams
• Assisting with the contracting requirements such as Variations in scope requests, Change Request Notes, Prime Sub Memo’s etc
• Assisting with monthly financials such as preparing budgets and issuing invoices
• Preparing and reporting on a regular basis to clients on agreed SLA’s
• Maintaining access for clients and EY local teams to relevant platforms used in the engagements
• Preparing annual calendars for global payroll clients
• Preparing consolidated reports centrally for delivery to client e.g. monthly consolidated tax file
• Assistance with issue resolution with local teams and communications with clients around same
• Maintain and update issue logs for each engagement
• Requesting information from local countries regarding stock vesting quarterly, consolidating responses and sharing with the client
• Preparation of project plans and weekly status updates
• Assisting with other Ad Hoc requests as they come up
