Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree.
• 10+ years of SAP as Functional Consultant with HCM/ECP exposure.
• Expertise in HCM/ECP: PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management, Portal (ESS/MSS).
• Experience in development in HCM/ECP or higher preferred.
• Understanding of Payroll processing in SAP HCM and payroll development.
• Experience with interface implementations.
• Expertise in SAP enhancement options, Schema & PCR, Positive Time Management.
• Knowledge of integration techniques (PTP, BIB); exposure to Employee Central Payroll and Payroll Control Center is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ITSM (ServiceNow) and HP ALM is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player capable of multi-tasking under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adopting latest technologies.

EY is looking for a SAP Functional Consultant – Manager to lead the strategic direction and implementation of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

The Opportunity

As an HCM SAP Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and implementation of our Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions within the SAP ecosystem. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive transformation initiatives that enhance our HR processes and improve employee engagement across the organization. You will oversee a team of skilled professionals, guiding them in the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP HCM modules. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that our HCM systems align with business objectives and support our workforce management strategies effectively. In this position, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including HR, IT, and finance, to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and propose solutions for requirements received from clients and other functional consultants.
• Develop, document, and deliver solutions with utmost quality adhering to EY best practices.
• Actively participate in the entire life cycle of SAP HCM implementations (design, estimation, development, documentation, testing) and take ownership wherever required.
• Collaborate with experts, architects, and project managers to ensure highest standards of delivery within the stipulated timelines.
• Work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions (capability consultant), while at the same time, work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.
• Drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, and technology.
• Engage with the customers during different phases of product development to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP as Functional Consultant with good exposure to HCM/ECP Module.
• Expertise in HCM/ECP Module including PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management and Portal (ESS/MSS).
• Development experience in HCM/ECP Module or higher is preferred.
• Good understanding of Payroll processing in SAP HCM and experience in Payroll application development.
• Good experience in interface implementations.
• Expertise in various enhancement implementation options, writing Schema & PCR, and Positive Time Management.
• Knowledge of integration techniques like PTP, BIB and exposure to Employee Central Payroll, Payroll Control Center, and SF Employee Central is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes, IT Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow) and testing tool HP ALM is also an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player, able to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
