Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior/Lead GCP Platform Engineer to own and standardize the Google Cloud foundation for client engagements. You will design secure landing zones, implement multi-cloud interconnects, and lead DevOps practices across projects.

The role requires strong GCP delivery experience, IAM and VPC expertise, and the ability to guide others while maintaining client-facing communication. This is a remote, day-shift opportunity based in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on GCP delivery experience with client-facing work.
• Knowledge of IAM, organizational units and policy-driven security for landing-zone setups.
• Deep experience in VPC, networking, org policy and landing-zone design.
• Proficient in DevOps/infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and secure interconnects; ability to lead delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the Google Cloud foundation for client engagements, standardizing multi-tenant platforms.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones, including IAM, networking, and monitoring.
• Implement identity-aware network security and cross-cloud interconnects; enforce DevOps/SRE practices.
• Provision and configure the Gemini Enterprise platform with proper access and governance.
• Apply Well-Architected Framework to harden environments for data residency and compliance.

Your Role

• Own the Google Cloud foundation that every client engagement runs on, building to a standardized, multi-tenant, managed-service-ready standard.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones, including organization hierarchy, IAM, networking, billing, and monitoring.
• Implement identity-aware network security, cross-cloud / multi-cloud interconnects, and robust DevOps/SRE practices.
• Provision and configure the Gemini Enterprise platform, establishing proper access, connectors, and governance controls.
• Apply the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework to harden environments for AU data residency, DLP, and compliance (APRA / privacy).

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Strong commercial GCP delivery experience (consulting / client-facing).
• Knowledge of IAM, organisational units (OU) and policy-driven security, so Gemini Enterprise is set up to best practice.
• Depth in VPC / VPC-SC, networking, org policy and landing-zone design.
• DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI-CD, logging and monitoring.
• Multi-cloud exposure and secure interconnect experience.
• Technical leadership and delivery oversight — able to operate autonomously and guide others.
• Strong communication skills — this role liaises with client heads and leads to build early rapport.
• GCP certification: Highly preferred, but not a knockout requirement. Strong hands-on GCP candidates without certification can still be considered.
• GCP experience: Ideally 3–5 years hands-on GCP, but they are open to candidates with broader cloud experience as long as they have meaningful GCP exposure.
• Overall cloud background: They will consider both:
• GCP-focused candidates
• Multi-cloud candidates with AWS/Azure + GCP

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Gemini Enterprise / Vertex AI familiarity.
• Regulated / sovereign-industry experience (financial services, government, health).
