Job summary

Underground Apparel is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and finished garments. The role ensures smooth coordination between production and logistics, safeguards company assets, and maintains compliance with apparel industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision within garments manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards, particularly in textile and garment handling.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Physically fit to handle warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff in receiving, storing, and dispatching raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and finished apparel.
• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
• Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety standards specific to garment handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of fabrics, trims, and finished goods; conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials for sewing, cutting, and finishing operations.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and accountability of apparel products to prevent damage, loss, or contamination.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Train and mentor warehouse personnel to improve efficiency, compliance, and product care.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
