Job summary

TransPerfect Games is seeking a QA Manager with extensive experience leading testing teams in the game industry. The role focuses on setting up, training, and managing the QA Testing Production team, and supporting the Sales team to assist clients and develop new business.

You will drive QA strategy, coordinate with project managers, developers, and customers, and monitor multiple projects for quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Substantial QA testing experience in the video game industry (10+ years).
• Proven management experience in QA (5+ years).
• Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, ADO).
• Leadership in a similar role (3+ years).
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the QA team and align with customer expectations.
• Set goals, define strategies, and establish QA processes.
• Coordinate with project managers, developers, and customers to define testing plans.
• Monitor progress across projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee QA staff training and development for effective performance.
• Maintain strong customer relationships as primary contact for issues and feedback.
• Continuously assess and improve QA performance and implement process enhancements.
• Stay updated on QA trends and drive innovation to maintain competitiveness.
• Consult with Sales to support client relationships and pursue new business.
