Job summary

Our Clients in Makati is seeking an experienced Forex Trader to join the Treasury & Portfolio team in a hybrid setting (Makati) with Monday–Friday dayshift. You will execute currency trades, build client relationships, and monitor market movements to advise on optimal entries and exits.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 1+ year in banking/finance, and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year of professional experience within the banking or financial services industry.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is required.
• Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, economic indicators, and BSP regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute foreign currency buy and sell transactions efficiently to maximize portfolio value.
• Prospect, build, and maintain client relationships through self-generated leads and cross-departmental leads.
• Monitor live foreign exchange levels, rate movements, and global market trends to advise the Head Trader on optimal market entry and exit points.
• Coordinate directly with the Forex Back Office to streamline trade execution, documentation, and settlement processes.
• Ensure full operational alignment and adherence to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) foreign exchange rules and regulatory guidelines.
• Attend industry seminars, workshops, and training to continuously upgrade currency market expertise and technical trading skills.
• Perform additional trading-related tasks and operational duties as assigned by the Forex Department Head.
