Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Fund Oversight and Reporting Specialist to manage day‑to‑day fund administration delivered by external vendors and coordinate reporting cycles across governance and audit requirements.

You will partner with investment, risk, legal, compliance, product development, and client service teams to strengthen controls and drive automation in oversight, reporting, and control evidence production.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in fund services, fund administration oversight, financial reporting, fund accounting, and/or regulatory reporting for pooled investment vehicles.
• Experience supporting registered funds and/or private fund structures (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, interval funds, private partnerships).
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and familiarity with regulatory reporting expectations.
• Understanding of net asset value, custody, transaction activity, valuation concepts, and fund taxation concepts.
• Ability to translate operational and reporting risks into practical oversight checks and control evidence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external fund administration vendors to ensure service levels, controls, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate financial reporting cycles, disclosures, control procedures, and governance deliverables.
• Plan, execute, and track audit activities with vendors and auditors.
• Review fund financial statements and respond to audit inquiries with documentation.
• Coordinate regulatory filings (N-PORT, N-CEN, N-CSR) for completeness and timeliness.
• Prepare governance materials for fund governance forums.
• Maintain oversight documentation and procedures for control and governance.
• Collaborate with global counterparts for consistent oversight practices.
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
