Job summary

Empower is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead large complex initiatives within the Fund Change Center. You will coordinate internal and external resources, manage expectations, and drive projects to meet deadlines while ensuring quality and compliance with firm policies.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, facilitating stakeholder dialogue, tracking progress, and mentoring junior leaders. Travel may be required as part of coordinating cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
• Proven project management skills for complex development projects.
• Strong organizational, planning and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manages large complex projects for Fund and Fee Business function.
• Coordinates project resources, internal and external
• Manages project expectations and ensures on-time delivery
• Ensures all parties have tools, information and direction
• Creates and maintains project plans for large/complex projects
• Facilitates dialogue to define roles and drive project forward
• Tracks tasks and conducts meetings to review progress
• Trains and supports junior Project Leaders in the Change Center
• Participates in company-wide initiatives such as system enhancements and new product rollouts
• Works with stakeholders to develop technology solutions including business case, data analysis, requirements/solution definition and rollout support
• Sets and manages client expectations and deepens relationships within the project landscape
• Escalates high impact decisions and assists in process development
• Performs data reviews to prevent risk of loss due to errors
• Other duties as assigned
