Job summary

HC Global Fund Services, LLC is seeking an Associate responsible for general accounting, tax support, and accounts payable/receivable processing. The role includes reconciliations, period-end closings, ledger maintenance, and intercompany reconciliations.

Requirements include a B.S in Accountancy, teamwork ability, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Occasional extended hours may be needed to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performs balance sheet accounts reconciliations and analyses.
• Prepares workbooks and financials for period/month end closing of Clients’ books on a timely manner and ready for audit.
• Records clients’ business-related transactions and performs general ledger accounting and maintenance using accounting software.
• Assists with Compliance Reporting for federal, state and government agencies.
• Ensures that all expenses are accrued, and all income and expense items are recognized in the appropriate period.
• Reconciles intercompany transactions with affiliates.
• Accounts Receivable: Processes Clients’ customers’ invoices and posts cash receipts against open invoices.
• Accounts Payable: Processes vendors’ invoices and employee expense reports; initiates and reviews payment runs.
• Monitors purchasing accruals and runs reports.
• Documents and maintains Clients’ process documentations; responds to inquiries and archives documents.
