Job summary

HCGLOBAL RESOURCE (ASIA), INC. seeks a seasoned accounting professional to support middle and back office functions for funds. You will gather documents, upload trade data, prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, and assist with annual audits alongside Geneva clients.

Responsibilities

• Gathers all information required (external statements, prime broker reports, custodian statements, and supporting documents for recurring expenses).
• Performs pricing for Geneva clients using external sources’ prices.
• Uploads daily trade transactions, dividends, interest, corporate actions, and cash activity into portfolio accounting and records.
• Prepares daily equity reconciliation and, if required, position and cash reconciliation; investigates trade breaks.
• Prepares and updates financial reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, capital changes, investor allocations, management fees).
• Ensures correct monthly partner allocations per capital or commitment ratios; allocates management and performance fees per LP agreements.
• Ensures expenses are accrued and income/expense items are recorded in allocation files and tax classifications.
• Ensures correct classification of income and expenses for tax purposes; validates monthly/quarterly/YTD returns for LPs.
• Prepares working papers with proper notations; submits reporting package for review.
• Prepares accounting entries for Geneva clients with proper supporting documents.
• Monitors client mailboxes and saves necessary emails and supports promptly.
• Responds to ad hoc requests including distributions and drawdowns; prepares wire entries for Cash Control engagements.
• Performs peer reviews of investor statements as needed.
• Assists in coordinating annual audits; prepares audit working papers and year-end schedules; collaborates with auditors on notes and disclosures.
• Prepares fund financial statements and drafts timely statements for level review; manages priorities and deadlines.
