Job summary

OutForce is seeking a mid-to-senior Fund Accountant to join our priorities in Manila. You will handle NAV calculations, daily unit pricing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a sophisticated investment fund portfolio.

The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, and guiding junior team members. A CPA is preferred, and Manila-based candidates are favored for proximity to the team.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of accounting/finance experience in investment fund accounting.
• Hands-on NAV calculations, daily unit pricing, fund reconciliations, financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA macros.
• Experience with Paxus, regulatory and tax reporting, and process improvement is an advantage.
• CPA qualification preferred; Manila residents given preference.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily unit prices (NAV) and update pricing systems.
• Produce Fund Valuation Reports and reflect fund performance.
• Perform cash and portfolio reconciliations and monthly accounts.
• Support monthly regulatory and tax reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Train and assist junior fund accountants and coordinate with stakeholders.

Role Overview:

Fund Accountant will be responsible forpreparing and reviewing daily unit prices and NAV calculations, managing fundreconciliations, and supporting financial, regulatory, and tax reporting.You’ll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contribute toprocess improvements, and assist in guiding junior team members to ensureaccurate and timely fund accounting operations.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a mid-to-senior-levelaccounting professional with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relatedfield and more than 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in investmentfund accounting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in NAVcalculations, daily unit pricing, fund reconciliations, and financialreporting, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA macros.Experience with Paxus, regulatory and tax reporting, and process improvement isan advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

The candidateshould be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing prioritieswhile supporting and guiding junior team members. A CPA qualification ispreferred for one of the openings, and candidates residing near the Manilaoffice will be given preference.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Preparation and review of daily unit prices (NAVcalculation) and update of general ledger / unit pricing system and supportingwork papers.
• Portfolio Valuation Report and other reportsreflecting Fund Performance.
• Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations.
• Monthly management accounts preparationincluding commentary.
• Monthly regulatory and tax reporting (BASetc).
• Quarterly compliance lodgements.
• Assist with drafting statutory accountsincluding reconciliations and collating documents.
• Multiple ad-hoc tasks including preparationof analysis in response to queries from both internal and external parties.
• Ability to assist other teams in theorganisation (e.g. fund management, operations, wider business) when required.
• Contribute to process improvement acrossdaily/monthly tasks.
• Assist other departments/teams in preparingmonthly tasks such as corporate reports and property funds unit prices.
• Train and assist junior fund accountant ondaily basis.
• Support managed fund accounting activities,including maintaining general ledgers, cash transfers, receipting, balancesheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, and invoicing.
