Job summary

OutForce Inc. is recruiting a Fund Accountant to join Centuria Capital, an ASX-200 listed investment manager. The role focuses on statutory and management reporting, tax compliance, and financial accounting for estate funds in Australia and New Zealand.

You will prepare financial statements, reconciliations, tax calculations, and budgets while collaborating across business units to enhance processes. The ideal candidate has commercial, corporate or property fund experience, strong Excel and ERP

Qualifications

• Big 4 experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with tax calculations (GST, PAYG) and financial statements.
• Proficient in OneSource Accounts Production, MRI and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals.
• Produce monthly management reporting and financial statements.

Role Overview

Fund Accountant focuses on statutory and management reporting, tax compliance, and financial accounting across Centuria’s unlisted property and healthcare funds. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciliations, tax calculations, cash flow forecasts, and expense budgets, as well as supporting treasury and periodic reporting. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to improve processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

What We’re Looking For

An Accountant with experience in commercial, corporate, or property fund accounting, ideally with a background in property or funds management. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Experience with OneSource Accounts Production, MRI, and advanced Microsoft Excel is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, along with good communication skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset. Big 4 experience is highly regarded.

Key Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be an Accountant with commercial, corporate or property fund experience. Big 4 experience prior to commercial roles and experience in property and funds management will be well regarded.

• System experience (OneSource Accounts Production for financial statements, MRI property management system)

• Ideally some property experience

What You’ll Be Working On

• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, month-end journals and monthly management reporting

• Preparation of financial statements

• Preparation of tax calculations (GST, PAYG, annual income tax calculations)

• Maintenance of actual figures in fund cash flow and forecast model

• Preparation and monitoring of fund expense budget

• Maintenance of the treasury summary including calculation and recording of interest accruals and prepayments and recording MTM on derivatives

• Support the team in the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reporting processes

• Liaising with multiple stakeholders across business units to identify new and implement improvements to existing workflows
