Job summary

MailerCloud is a UK‑headquartered email marketing platform delivering billions of emails monthly. We seek a versatile Software Engineer with 3–4 years of hands‑on experience to own features end‑to‑end across RESTful APIs, backend services, frontend components, CI/CD, and AI agent tooling.

You will work with Go and PHP, Vue 3, and modern tech stacks on bare‑metal Rocky Linux. The role collaborates closely with Product Manager and leadership to scale the platform.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional software development in a product company.
• Strong proficiency in Go or PHP, with Go preferred.
• Solid frontend experience in Vue 2/3 or React and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of MySQL: schema design, indexing, query tuning.
• Experience with Linux environments and CLI usage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Good English for documentation and async communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend APIs and microservices in Go/PHP for campaigns, automation, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain Vue 3 frontend components and SPAs from UI designs.
• Integrate with e‑commerce, CRM, and other platforms via GraphQL and webhooks.
• Manage and extend CI/CD pipelines, tests, and deployment tooling.
• Contribute to analytics at billion-row scale with ClickHouse, MySQL maintenance, and queue infra.
