Job summary

Outstaffer.AI is seeking a senior full-stack engineer with a backend focus to design scalable systems and product-grade APIs. You will work on end-to-end web apps, ensure robust data models, and own AI-assisted code with discipline and high-quality reviews.

The role emphasizes React front-end, Material UI, RESTful services, and multi-tenant serverless architecture across GCP and related cloud tools. Collaboration and proactive planning are key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong backend focus.
• Proven system and solution design ability: sensible data models, clean API contracts, and component architecture that stay maintainable as a business system evolves.
• Disciplined AI-assisted development: uses AI tools as an accelerant, not a substitute for understanding.
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js and Typescript, ideally with ExpressJS.
• Strong front-end development experience with React (preferably with Material UI).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with serverless technologies (GCP preferred).
• Strong testing discipline: unit testing, feature-level automation, and self-testing work.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments.
• Experience with NoSQL/document-based databases (Firestore, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Independent contributor in small teams with agile ceremonies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end web applications, delivering features incrementally for rapid improvement.
• Design data models, API contracts, and component structures that fit the business domain and scale.
• Own all submitted code, including AI-generated code, and defend design in reviews and QA handoffs.
• Build and maintain features on a serverless architecture (GCP or similar).
• Implement React-based user interfaces aligned with UX/UI design.
• Deliver features strictly to scope and propose improvements during planning.
• Self-test thoroughly; ensure features pass QA in 1–2 iterations.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Use GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and refinement; surface risks.
• Gather feedback from users to refine features.
• Design scalable, secure APIs for a multi-tenant platform.
