Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a capable full-stack engineer to join our team in the Philippines. You will contribute on both frontend and backend, delivering robust React.js interfaces with Next.js where applicable and building RESTful APIs using .NET Core.

Collaboration with QA, UX, and product teams is essential in a fast-paced Agile setting. The role emphasizes strong MSSQL/Entity Framework work, containerization with Docker, and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with React.js (Next.js a plus).
• Proficiency in Material UI or similar UI libraries.
• 3+ years with .NET Core (C#).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core MVC or Web API.
• Strong MSSQL Server experience (querying, stored procedures, indexing).
• Hands-on with Entity Framework (Core or 6+).
• Familiar with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Nice to have: GraphQL, NoSQL (Couchbase), serverless, performance optimization.
